Care Instructions
Noir Handmade pieces are made with delicate stretch fabrics and refined details. A little care helps them keep their shape, shine and fit. Always check the care label on your garment first; follow its instructions if they differ from this general guide.
Washing
Wash in cold water with a mild liquid detergent. If you use a washing machine, select a hand wash or delicate cycle to protect fine fabrics and embellishments. We recommend washing your garment before its first wear to reduce the chance of colour transfer.
Drying
Lay the garment flat to dry so it keeps its shape and does not stretch. Do not tumble dry: heat can damage delicate fabrics and elastic components.
Ironing
If the garment label permits ironing, use a cool setting and iron on the reverse side. Never apply high heat directly to delicate fabric.
Fit and wear
Choose the right size for a close, comfortable fit. Overstretching can strain seams, fabric and shape.
Delicate zips
Some Noir Handmade designs use fine French zips. Open and close them gently, and keep fabric clear of the zip to avoid snags or holes.
